Here are two songs from the 1990s and the songs they sampled. “Steal My Sunshine” from 1999 is Len’s most popular song making the charts in 10 countries. It samples The Andrea True Connection’s debut single released 23 years earlier with Len giving co-writing credit to its songwriter and producer, Gregg Diamond. Edwyn Collins had an international hit with “A Girl Like You” from 1994. The beat sounds like it samples the drums in “1-2-3” by Len Barry from 1965 but is not given credit in the liner notes.
